Due to an ongoing labour dispute in Yellowknife, Speed Skating NWT has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2023 NWT Championships, scheduled for March 4-5, 2023. The Board looks forward to hosting the NWT Champs again in 2024.
Speed Skating NWT hosts the annual NWT Championships in Yellowknife, NT with skaters, aged 3 to 19+ years, from the communities of Fort Simpson, Hay River, Inuvik, and Yellowknife, including Special Olympic skaters.
