The 2026 NWT Championships were held on February 14-15, 2026 at the Yellowknife Multiplex, Ed Jeske Rink. The Rockets skated on both Saturday and Sunday at lunch. A Master’s 500m Exhibition Race was held on Sunday. Skaters, coaches, and officials from Whitehorse, Grande Prairie, Fort Simpson, Hay River, Inuvik, and Yellowknife were in attendance.

Speed Skating NWT hosts the annual NWT Championships in Yellowknife, NT with skaters, aged 3 to 19+ years, from the communities of Fort Simpson, Hay River, Inuvik, and Yellowknife, including Special Olympic skaters. All NWT meets are screen-free.
62 Degrees North generously provides rink side first responders during the entire meet.
